Healthy radish-capsicum and pomogranate recipe with step by step pictures and a video. This is a easy recipe which can be used as a side dish for rice or ricebath. This is a very tasty mosarubajji or raitha or salad recipe prepared using grated radish, fried capsicum, pomegranate seeds, coconut and mustard seeds.

Radish contains plenty of 'C' Vitamin. Including radish in your diet helps treating or preventing certain ailments like Jaundice, BP, Piles, Cancer, Diabetes etc., Capsicum is a tasty vegetable with low calories and a good supply of vitamins and minerals, this also keeps your eyes healthy. And pomogranate is a nutrient dense, antioxidant rich fruit has been revered as a symbol of health, fertility and eternal life. So a tasty raitha prepared using all these ingredients is a must try recipe.

Radish, Capsicum and Pomogranate raitha recipe

Preparation time: 15 min
Cooking time: 5 min
Serves: 2

Ingredients: (measuring cup used = 240ml)

  1. 1 medium sized radish
  2. 1/2 pomegranate
  3. 1/2 capsicum
  4. 1/2 - 1 cup grated coconut
  5. 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
  6. 1/2 cup curd or 1 cup buttermilk
  7. Salt as per your taste
  8. 1 tsp cooking oil

Ingredients for tempering:

  1. 1 red chilli
  2. 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
  3. 2 tsp cooking oil

Instructions for making Radish, Capsicum and Pomogranate raitha

  1. Chop the capsicum, and fry them under low flame using 1 tsp of cooking oil. Keep it aside, let it become cool.fry capsicum for radish capsicum raita
  2. Take grated coconut and mustard seeds in a mixie jar. Add in required water and grind until fine.coconut and mustard for radish capsicum raita
  3. Add in curd and give a quick pulse or grind it for a while.curd for radish capsicum raita
  4. Transfer it into a container and add in salt as per your taste.salt for radish capsicum raita
  5. Add in grated radish and pomegranate seeds.grated radish and pomegranate for radish capsicum raita
  6. Also add in fried capsicum.fried capsicum for radish raita
  7. Give a quick mix.making radish capsicum and pomegranate raita
  8. Finally temper it with oil, mustard and red chilli. Serve it with rice or chapathi.tempering radish capsicum and pomegranate raita
