Peanuts (shenga) and jaggery are the 2 ingredients. This shenga or kadalekai unde is a protein rich recipe and is very good for growing kids.

Peanut laddu or kadalekai unde is very high in protein and good fat. It's a super food for growing children. You can prepare this easily and kids will definitely enjoy. Preparation time: 10 min
Cooking time: 15 min
Serves: 10

Ingredients: (measuring cup used = 240ml)

  1. 1/2 cup peanut or shenga
  2. 1/4 cup powdered jaggery (adjust as per your taste)

Instructions for making 2 ingredient laddu:

  1. Take peanuts or shenga or kadlekai in a thick bottomed pan.groundnuts for 2 ingredient laddu or shenga or kadalekai unde
  2. Roast until crispy or light brown under medium flame.roasted peanut for 2 ingredient laddu or shenga or kadalekai unde
  3. Wait until warm. Rub and deskin them.deskin peanuts for 2 ingredient laddu or shenga or kadalekai unde
  4. Transfer the deskinned peanuts into a mixie jar. Grind them for a while to get coarse powder.deskinned peanuts for 2 ingredient laddu or shenga or kadalekai unde
  5. Scrape the sides and bring everything together. Add in jaggery.jaggery for 2 ingredient laddu or shenga or kadalekai unde
