This bellulli mandakki or kadlepuri is very easy to prepare and is very tasty. Serve this garlic churumuri or murumura as an evening snacks or as a breakfast. This is very tasty recipe using puffed rice, garlic, green chilli, coriander leaves, salt and oil. You can prepare this mandaki or churumuri in just 5 minutes

Fresh ground raw masala is used in this garlic bhel recipe. In general it will be spicy, however you can adjust the green chilli as per to your spice level. Also coconut oil is added, which enhances the taste of churumuri. But if you want you can replace it with any other vegetable oil or melted ghee. And you can replace garlic with cumin seeds, if you don't like garlic.

Bellulli hasi khara mandakki recipe

Preparation time: 10 min
Cooking time: 0 min
Serves: 4

Ingredients: (measuring cup used = 240ml)

  1. 2 - 3 cups mandakki or puffed rice
  2. 1/2 cup fresh grated coconut
  3. 2 - 3 green chilles
  4. 4 - 5 cloves of garlic (or 1/2 tsp cumin seeds)
  5. Some coriander leaves
  6. 1 tbsp coconut oil (any other oil or ghee)
  7. Salt to taste

Instructions for making bellulli hasi khara mandakki:

  1. Take all the ingredients.ingredients bellulli hasi khara mandakki or garlic churumuri
  2. Take puffed rice (mandakki) as well. You can take any puffed rice but make sure it is crispy. If not you can fry it for a while under low flame to make it crispy.puffed rice for bellulli hasi khara mandakki or garlic churumuri
  3. Take grated coconut, garlic and green chillies in a mixie jar. You can adjust garlic and green chillies as per your taste.spices for bellulli hasi khara mandakki or garlic churumuri
  4. Add in coriander leaves and salt.coriander leaves and salt for bellulli hasi khara mandakki or garlic churumuri
  5. Grind it without adding any water. You can also scrape the edges and grind it again if needed.masala for bellulli hasi khara mandakki or garlic churumuri
  6. Just before serving, transfer the ground masala into bowl which has puffed rice.masala and puffed rice for bellulli hasi khara mandakki or garlic churumuri
  7. Also add in oil or melted ghee.oil for bellulli hasi khara mandakki or garlic churumuri
