Garlic thambuli is preared using garlic, red chilli, coconut, curd and tempering. This garlic tambli is very tasty and healthy. It can be served with rice.

Garlic tambli recipe

Preparation time: 5 min
Cooking time: 10 min
Serves: 3

Ingredients: (measuring cup used = 240ml)

  1. 1 medium sized garlic
  2. 1 - 2 red chili
  3. 1/4 cup grated coconut
  4. 1/4 - 1/2 cup curd or butter milk
  5. 1 tsp cooking oil
  6. Salt as per your taste.

Ingredients for tempering:

  1. 1 red chili
  2. 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
  3. 4 curry leaves
  4. 1 tsp cooking oil

Instructions for making garlic tambli:

  1. Peel the garlic and chop them into pieces.chopped garlic for bellulli tambli or garlic tambuli recipe
  2. Next heat a frying pan, add in a tsp oil and red chillies.frying red chili for bellulli tambli or garlic tambuli recipe
  3. Once chillies are fried, add in chopped garlic and fry them until slightly brown.frying garlic for bellulli tambli or garlic tambuli recipe
  4. Take coconut and roasted ingredients in a mixie jar.coconut for bellulli tambli or garlic tambuli recipe
  5. Add in required water and grind it into a smooth paste. Next add in curd and salt.salt and tamarind for bellulli tambli or garlic tambuli recipe
  6. Grid it for a while and transfer it into a bowl.grinding bellulli tambli or garlic tambuli recipe
