Healthy laddu or energy balls recipe explained with step by step pictures and a video. This healthy ladoo or unde is prepared using sesame seeds, flax seeds and badam. This ellu, agase beeja and badami unde is very easy to prepare and is very good for everybody. Eating this ladoo is very good for eyes, hair and skin.

Healthy laddu recipe

Preparation time: 10 min
Cooking time: 15 min
Serves: 10

Ingredients: (measuring cup used = 240ml)

  1. 1/2 cup sesame seeds
  2. 1 cup flax seeds
  3. 1/2 cup badam or almonds
  4. 1 cup powdered jaggery (adjust as per your taste)
  5. 1/4 cup water
  6. 1 tbsp ghee

Instructions for making healthy laddu or energy balls:

  1. Roast sesame seeds until they start to pop. Transfer it into a container.sesame seeds for healthy laddu or energy balls
  2. Roast flax seeds until hot. Transfer it into the same container.flax seeds for healthy laddu or energy balls
  3. Roast the badam or almonds for a while.badam or almonds for healthy laddu or energy balls
  4. Transfer the roasted sesame seeds and flax seeds into a mixie jar.roasted ingredients for healthy laddu or energy balls
  5. Make a coarse powder and transfer it into a container.Powdered ingredients for healthy laddu or energy balls
  6. Transfer the roasted badam into the mixie jar.roasted badam for healthy laddu or energy balls
  7. Make a coarse powder and transfer it into the same container.powdered badam for healthy laddu or energy balls
  8. In a pan heat jaggery along with water.jaggery for healthy laddu or energy balls
  9. Make one string consistency.jaggery syrup for healthy laddu or energy balls
  10. Add the powder and give a quick mix.making healthy laddu or energy balls
  11. Add in ghee. Mix it again and Switch off the stove.ghee for healthy laddu or energy balls
