Paneer tawa fry and green chutney recipe explained with step by step pictures and a video. Paneer tawa fry is similar to paneer tikka and is a very tasty evening snacks or easy starter. Paneer pan fry is prepared using paneer, besan, oil, curd, red chilli powder, dhaniya powder, garam masala, cumin powder, chat masala, turmeric and salt. The green chutney is prepared using mint, coriander, cumin powder, chat masala, curd, green chilli, ginger, salt and sugar.

Paneer tawa fry recipe

Preparation time: 10 min
Cooking time: 20 min
Serves: 3

Ingredients: (measuring cup used = 240ml)

  1. 200gm paneer
  2. 2 tbsp gram flour (besan or kadle hittu)
  3. 1 tbsp hot oil
  4. 1.5 tsp red chilli powder
  5. 1 tsp coriander powder
  6. 1/2 tsp cumin powder
  7. 1/2 tsp garam masala
  8. 1/4 tsp chat masala
  9. Big pinch turmeric powder
  10. 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
  11. 2 tbsp thick curd
  12. 1 tbsp kasuri methi
  13. Salt as per your taste

Ingredients for green chutney:

  1. A small handful of mint leaves
  2. A small handful of coriander leaves
  3. 1 - 2 green chillies
  4. 1cm length ginger
  5. 2 tbsp thick curd
  6. 1/4 tsp cumin powder
  7. 1/4 tsp chat masala powder
  8. Salt as per taste
  9. Sugar as per taste

Instructions for making paneer tawa fry:

  1. Take gram flour (kadle hittu) or white corn flour in a bowl.gram flour for easy evening snacks paneer tawa fry recipe
