Ragi hesaru bele dose or ragi moong dal dosa recipe explained with step by step pictures and video. This ragi hesarubele dose is an instant split mung bean dosa recipe without fermentation. Finger millet or nachni dosa is very tasty, crispy, easy and healthy. Ragi hesaru bele dose is prepared using moong dal, ragi flour, green chilli, ginger, coriander leaves, cumin seeds and salt.

Since mung dal or green gram dal takes less time to soak, we can say this is a real instant dosa. The whole recipe takes just 20 minutes. 15 minutes to soak, 5 minutes to grind and make the dosas.

    Ragi hesaru bele dose recipe

    Preparation time: 20 min
    Cooking time: 10 min
    Serves: 3

    Ingredients: (measuring cup used = 240ml)

    1. 1/2 cup moong dal or hesaru bele
    2. 1/2 cup ragi flour
    3. 1 cm length ginger
    4. 2 green chillies
    5. Some coriander leaves
    6. 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
    7. Salt as per your taste

    Instructions for making ragi hesaru bele dose:

    1. Soak moong dal or hesaru bele for 30 minutes.Soak moong dal for ragi hesaru bele or mung dal dosa
    2. Take the soaked moong dal in a mixie jar.soaked moong dal in mixer grinder for ragi hesaru bele or mung dal dosa
    3. Add ragi flour.ragi flour for ragi hesaru bele or mung dal dosa
    4. Also add in ginger, green chillies, coriander leaves and cumin seeds.spices for ragi hesaru bele or mung dal dosa
    5. Add in required water and grind until smooth.water for ragi hesaru bele or mung dal dosa or pancharatna dosa
    6. Transfer the batter into a container.smooth batter for ragi hesaru bele or mung dal dosa or pancharatna dosa
    7. Add in required water and prepare the batter having milkshake consistency. I have added around 1.25 cups of water for grinding and later.batter for ragi hesaru bele or mung dal dosa
    8. Add in salt as per taste, give it a quick mix.salt for ragi hesaru bele or mung dal dosa
    9. Heat the pan, pour the batter and make thin dosas. Close the lid and cook until done.making ragi hesaru bele or mung dal dosa
    10. Open the lid. Drizzle oil or ghee on top.ghee for ragi hesaru bele or mung dal dosa or pancharatna dosa
    11. Fold and take out the dosa.ragi hesaru bele or mung dal dosa on pan
    12. Serve it hot with coconut chutney or chutney powder.serving ragi hesaru bele or mung dal dosa
