Dry fruits laddu or dry fruits ladoo recipe explained with step by step pictures and video. Dry fruits laddu is prepared using cashew, badam, pista, dates and raisins. This is a sugar free dry fruits laddu recipe. In this dry fruits laddu or ladoo I have used fig and walnut, which are optional ingredients. This is a very easy dry fruits laddu recipe. Like my easy rave unde or rava laddu, shenga unde or peanut laddu, besan unde or besan laddu and fried gram laddu or hurigadale unde.

In Karnataka, dry fruits laddus are prepared using edible gum or "antu". And dry fruits laddus are popular by name "antinunde". I will share authentic "antinunde" recipe soon. But this dry fruits laddu is without edible gum (antu) and without jaggery. I like these sugar free dry fruits laddu or ladoo, which tastes so good and are very healthy.

Dry fruits laddu recipe

Preparation time: 15 min
Cooking time: 20 min
Serves: 15 no

Ingredients: (measuring cup used = 240ml)

  1. 1/4 cup cashew
  2. 1/4 cup badam or almonds
  3. 1/4 cup unsalted pista
  4. 1/4 cup walnut (optional)
  5. 1/4 cup dry figs (optional; can be substituted with dates)
  6. 1/4 cup raisins
  7. 1/2 cup dates
  8. 2 tsp ghee
  9. 2 tbsp poppy seeds or khuskhus
  10. 1/2 cup grated dry coconut
  11. 2 cardamom

Instructions for making dry fruits laddu:

  1. Take all dry nuts like cashew, badam, pista and walnut (optional) in a frying pan. Dry roast them under medium flame until crisp and keep it aside.frying nuts for dry fruits laddu or ladoo
  2. In the same pan dry roast poppy seeds until it starts popping and keep it aside.poppy seeds for dry fruits laddu or ladoo
  3. In the same pan dry roast grated dry coconut until crisp and keep it aside.gram flour for dry fruits laddu or ladoo
  4. Wait until roasted ingredients are cool. Then coarse grind it along with cardamom using a mixer grinder. Use pulse mode and pulse it for 5 - 6 times.dry roast the gram flour for dry fruits laddu or ladoo
  5. Grind it in 2 batches and keep it aside.roasted cashews for dry fruits laddu or ladoo
  6. Now take all dry fruits (raisins, figs and dates) as per measurement. You can always change the quantity as per your taste and availability of dry fruits. But make sure you use enough dry fruits.ghee for dry fruits laddu or ladoo
  7. Now deseed the dates and break the figs into small pieces. Also halve the raisins.roasting gram flour with ghee for dry fruits laddu or ladoo
  8. Transfer the dry fruits into the mixie jar and grind it. If the figs are not soft grind them separately.powdered sugar for dry fruits laddu or ladoo
  9. Next take ground dry fruits and ghee in a frying pan and heat it.gram flour, ghee and sugar for dry fruits laddu or ladoo
  10. Use a spatula and soften the dry fruits.making dry fruits laddu or ladoo
