pav bhaji recipe

Pav bhaji recipe explained with step by step pictures and a video. Home made pav bhaji recipe using pav bhaji masala powder is explained here. In this pav bhaji recipe mtr pav bhaji masala powder is used. This is a very easy and tasty pav bhaji recipe.

Pav bhaji can be prepared easily at home using vegetables, pav and pav bhaji masala powder. I have used MTR pav bhaji masala powder. You can use any other pav bhaji masala of your choice. Also I have used very less red chili powder, which gives good red colour to the bhaji. Adjust the red chili powder as per your spice level.

This is a kids friendly recipe. Very rarely I post these kind of recipes as my focus is on traditional Karnataka recipes. Saying so I have posted baby corn manchurian, gobi manchurian, babycorn golden fry, corn cutlet, pasta and many more recipes. These are all my my Son's favourites.

In my house we don't buy bread regularly. Even if we buy, my Son will eat the bread with either butter or jam. Or I prepare his favourite curd sandwich or rava bread toast or vegetable grilled sandwich (I will post the recipe soon) or Iyengar bakery style bread toast. Recently I prepared bread paddu and that was a super hit in my family.

In this recipe I have used 'pav'. As you all know it is a slightly different type of bread, available in shops. However if you don't get the pav, you can use bun. Bun is very common, you can get it easily everywhere but it is slightly sweet in taste.

I am filing this under kids friendly section and snacks section. If you are looking for more kids friendly recipes or more Snacks recipes then visit our kids friendly recipes and Snacks sections. Do read , try and enjoy.

I have made a video on this recipe with Kannada narration, which I have embedded it below. Kindly have a look!
